Mickey and Minnie's birthday

Mickey Mouse is one of the most famous characters in the world. His birthday is November 18, 1928, and his occupation is actor and host of Disneyland. He is brave, curious, polite, and has leadership and a strong sense of justice. He has a dog named Pluto.

Mickey was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks, and he first appeared in "Steamboat Willie", the first released work as "Mickey Mouse Series", which was released on November 18, 1928. Actually, Mickey had already appeared in "Plane Crazy" and "The Gallopin' Gaucho", and "Steamboat Willie" was the third work of the series, but it was released first, so the Walt Disney Company celebrates his birth as that day. Also, "Steamboat Willie" was the first Mickey Mouse Cartoon with sound, and Mickey was voiced by Walt Disney.

Walt Disney got the inspiration for Mickey from his old pet mouse he used to have on his farm. At first, he planned to name the character "Mortimer Mouse", but his wife, Lillian convinced him to change it, and finally he named the character "Mickey Mouse".

On November 18, 1978, Mickey became the first cartoon character to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in honor of his 50th anniversary. He became a member of famous stars.

Minnie Mouse is Mickey's girlfriend. Her birthday is also November 18, 1928, and her occupation is actress. She is really cute and graceful.

Minnie was also created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks, and she first appeared in "Steamboat Willie", but she had already appeared in"Plane Crazy" and "The Gallopin Gaucho" with Mickey. She has appeared many animated films with Mickey and her friends.

They are always in love with each other, and you can often see they kiss each other during shows and parades. I think they are the best couple of the world.

Donald's birthday

Do you know that today is Donald's birthday? Today, I would like to tell you about him.

Donald Duck is one of Mickey Mouse's best friends. His name is well known as "Donald Duck", but his full name is "Donald Fauntleroy Duck". His birthday is June 9, 1934, and his occupation is actor. He is very short-tempered and emotional, and because of such character, he sometimes has a hard time in animated cartoons. He has a girlfriend named Daisy Duck, two uncles named Scrooge McDuck and Ludwig Von Drake, and three nephews named Huey, Dewey, and Louie. They are called "Duck Family".

Donald was created by Dick Lundy, and he first appeared in "The Wise Little Hen", one of the "Silly Symphonies" cartoons, which was released on June 9, 1934. He also began to star in solo cartoons, and the first of which was the "Don Donald" which was released on January 9, 1937. In this cartoon, he first costarred with Daisy Duck.

According to polls, Donald became more popular than Mickey Mouse by 1938. Donald has appeared in more than 170 cartoons and that exceeds the number of appearance of Mickey!! Donald is a really hard worker, don't you think so?

When I saw "Fairies Primavera" which is the special show that is performed at the Mediterranean Harbor, a male dancer escorted Daisy. When Donald noticed that, he got angry with the dancer and chased him away from Daisy. After that, Donald and Daisy walked hand in hand happily. I felt that Donald really loves Daisy.

He is quite short-tempered, but I think that is also his cute point, and that's why he is very popular with so many people.

Goofy's birthday

Today is the birthday of Goofy, so I will tell you about him.

Goofy Goof is one of Mickey Mouse's best friends. His birthday is May 25, 1932, and his occupation is actor. He is very easygoing, but a little clumsy. Also, in contrast with other major Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, he has a son named "Max".

Goofy was created by Art Babbitt, and he first appeared in cartoon shorts "Mickey's Revue" which was released on May 25, 1932. His name was "Dippy Dawg" then. Two years later, he gained the new name "Goofy" in "Orphan's Benefit" which was released on August 11, 1934, and became a regular member of the Mickey's friends. Since then, he appeared many films.

When I saw "The Legend of Mythica" which is the show that is performed at the Mediterranean Harbor last Saturday, I saw him wipe his sweat with his ears!! Because his actions are always funny like this and he amuses us with his behavior all the time, I love him very much.

By the way, do you know what kind of animal Goofy is? Once some of my friends said that Goofy was a wolf, but actually, he is a dog! Are you surprised?

The first writing on my blog

Hi! This is my first writing on this blog.
Today, I would like to write about my visiting to Tokyo DisneySea.

"Spring Carnival" is held at Tokyo DisneySea now, and last Saturday, I went to see the show, "Fairies Primavera", which is took place at the Mediterranean Harbor.

This show is the carnival that celebrates the arrival of spring. The characters who appear in this show are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale, and Mary. Also, we can meet Tinkerbell and other fairies whom we usually can't meet. I will introduce them to you later.
The weather was not clear, but I enjoyed seeing the show, participating the dance with my handkerchief, and taking pictures of characters.
It was highly fun, and I really liked it. I would like to see the show more times!!
